About The Old Man
Hi, I’m The Old Man, a gamer over 60 years old who lives by one simple philosophy
“Age doesn’t give you wisdom; it comes by learning from your bad decisions and having a good sense of humor!”
I bring this mindset into everything I do in gaming, especially in ARK: Survival Evolved and ARK: Survival Ascended. From surviving unexpected dino attacks to building bases that sometimes collapse in spectacular fashion, I embrace the challenges, the laughs, and the lessons along the way. My goal is to show that gaming is for everyone, no matter your age, and that having fun and learning from mistakes is what makes the experience truly memorable.
My ARK Journey
As a gamer who is mostly blind, ARK presents unique challenges. Every dino encounter, base build, and survival strategy requires patience, focus, and sometimes creative problem solving. While mistakes happen, I approach each session with humor and determination. I share my adventures to entertain, inspire, and show that gaming is accessible to anyone willing to dive in.

Fun Facts About Me
Even when I am not dodging raptors or taming dinosaurs my life has been full of adventure. Over the years I have gone skydiving, snow skiing and surfing and have worked in several careers including owner of multiple businesses and college professor.
Today I am retired and living with significant vision loss which has left me mostly blind. That has not stopped me from exploring new worlds through gaming and sharing the experience with others. My travels and life experiences have taught me that both life and gaming are best enjoyed with curiosity laughter and a willingness to learn from mistakes.
